The introduction of bus-lane camera’s is fine as long as it is not a money making move. It will however highlight some additional problems in that buses, cyclists, taxi’s and private hire vehicles being the only users permitted. Often bus lanes are empty when the rest of the road is… Continue reading…

Maybe if we stopped supplying East Kilbride (which is a separate city altogether) from Glasgow – that might help for a start – there must be at least 6 different services run here – why – they have their own council and if they want buses to Glasgow why dont… Continue reading…

Is it any wonder buses are late passing through the city centre, due to sticking to trc (traffic regulation conditions) having to sit behind a bus picking up and dropping off passengers and unable to open the doors because you’re not fully in the bus stop this is clearly not… Continue reading…

I’d like to let you know about my experience today on the First Bus 747 service from Glasgow Airport, which I think provides a classic example of poor customer service. Having just returned from holiday, I decided to take this service home to the West End. I had never used… Continue reading…

Although I believe more emphasis should be paid to the provision of adequate cycle infrastructure in Glasgow, the provision of ‘dedicated’ bus lanes that are fit for purpose (not the stop-and-start mess we have now where one lane ends just as quickly as another begins) would be a good start.… Continue reading…
