One thing that really annoys me is that many of the buses sit at bus stops for up to 5 minutes because they’re ahead of their schedule. I understand that drivers can be disciplined for being early or late, and as a passenger I want the buses to run to time too. However, the fact that EVERY bus I go on, but especially the number 5, which on the way from town towards Castlemilk will spend several minutes sitting at Victoria Infirmary, and then again at Croftfoot roundabout, suggests that the timetable itself is incorrect! It appears that if the buses continued as normal, I could be at my destination between 5-10 minutes earlier than I am at the moment, but no, the drivers just sit there holding everyone back because of the incorrectly timed timetables.
