A FirstBus driver asked two passengers to leave the bus because they were smoking. One of them in particular started getting abusive, throwing racist comments at the driver and a few times threatening him that if he ever visited the “Milk” he would get “cut-up”. Some may say this was… Continue reading…

I use First Bus very frequently & all I would ask is that the drivers are better trained in the use of their on-board air conditioining system on the (very rare) hot summers that we have. Last July when the temperature was 27 degrees, I almost passed out on a… Continue reading…

This morning my bus journey was held up for around 10 – 15 minutes by the driver being caught in a disagreement with two would be passengers. I was right at the front of the bus and stayed to observe the entire thing. The couple spoke very limited English and… Continue reading…

141 Citybus service being withdrawn from 24th February 2014. Seems bus companies are just looking for more subsidies. Maybe they’re right – I don’t know. Hundreds will now be left without a service between Clydebank, lower Knightswood, Gartnavel Hospital, Broomhill, Thornwood and Partick bus station.… Continue reading…

It would be helpful if timetables were displayed at a height which allowed the average adult to read them without having to climb up onto the bus shelter seat. Twice I have been consulting the timetable thus, only to have a bus go past without stopping. At present in Glasgow,… Continue reading…

Have to agree the timetable is a work of fiction. As an elderly traveller, I plan my trips to ensure I will not be left standing at a cold, and often wet, bus stop yet again and again buses do not turn up on time, or at all. On more… Continue reading…

The payment system sours my experience every time. You don’t know how much a return will be in advance. You need to have change ready. You know the driver will very reluctantly mumble the price as if you are an idiot for asking. Then everyone taps there feet in annoyance… Continue reading…

You would have been bored so much on this bus because it takes one hour or more to get to Dumbarton road. The number 500 is much better it only takes 15 minutes to get to glasgow city centre.… Continue reading…
